The fun is on at Yeoman Hill park in Mansfield Woodhouse for the town’s annual carnival. There are an array of stalls from many community organisations, including the police, Sure Start and the Mansfield Community Development Group, to name a few!
DAs Janet and Andy have been trying to recruit new Digital Activists in the area and WEA community courses are proving popular prospects among those coming to our stall. The rain has held off for the time being and hopefully, the sun will continue to reign so more folk make their way down to the park.
DAs Janet and Lynn have brought along fluffy toys in exchange of donations, which are pulling the punters in! As usual, Janet is dragging people in and showing them what wonderful things the DAIN and the WEA are offering!
There is a live band, there’s food and it’s dry. So, if you’re around, make your way down here for some Saturday festival fun – Woodhouse style!
